I texted a friend yesterday, "If you're around today, maybe I can grab a hug. I need one." Within 15 minutes she was in her car.
Luckily, this was just enough time to brush my teeth.
For over an hour, we sat on my couch snort-cry/laughing, hugging, and talking about nothing and everything. She even complimented me on my mismatched pajamas. That's true friendship.
Who knows if my weepiness was hormones, the holidiays, or over a relationship that is no longer. That part doesn't really matter.
What does matter is she came to me without hesitation. This is what I will remember.
May we be blessed by friends like this, so that we can abundantly pour out to others without ceasing,
Happy Monday Kindreds, I love you, Michelle
