Kate Mapother: Queer Author & Word Magician
Kate Mapother has worn many hats in her life—carpenter, remodeler, project and construction manager —but none have fit so well as poet. She is a Queer author of two books of poetry, c a r v e d and Tell me You Hear the Riot, and a published essayist and poet. In the kindred spirit of writers like Mary Oliver, she can most often be found hiking with her dog, Riggins, while the detritus of big feelings form poems in her head.

Lisann Valentin: Actor, Author, Amplifier
A native New Yorker, an actress, and a best-selling author, Lisann Valentin has had many careers, and being a 5th generation shaman has played into every single role, even when she didn’t know it. With a vibrant Spiritual life since she was a child, “make me an instrument of your peace,” was her prayer, her mantra. These healing words helped Lisann balance the energy of a family life that was both full of love and fraught with the difficulty of witnessing alcoholism and addiction. Learning from and about the lineage of healers in her Puerto Rican family and the power of prayer in her own life, these contrasting experiences amplified her faith and her empathic gifts, which helped her thrive in any environment. But it took years for Lisann to embrace the calling on her life, several careers, and the courage, to untangle from limiting beliefs. The descendant of four generations of healers before her, it wasn’t until she answered “the call” as a shaman that everything fell into place. She finally understood that she wasn’t an instrument of peace — she simply was peace. “Peace is a winged warrior who flies into the middle of a storm and tames it with the light.” From growing up in Brooklyn, and playing on the shores of Aguadilla’s enchanting beaches, to pounding the pavement on Wall Street and working the red carpet, she has sown seeds of peace every step of the way. As part of her life’s harvest, Lisann has appeared on dozens of hit TV shows and films, and her books have graced many best-sellers lists. A professional storyteller and a shamanic amplifier, she continues to help guide other empaths like herself – the creatives, the leaders, and the healers – to thrive within their gifts… on-screen and on the stage of life. “We’re here to be emanations of peace by being exactly who we are, as we are – and to let that light within shine brightly.” Lisann Valentin walks in her purpose between NYC and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Consie Sindet: Creativity Coach
Consie Sindet is a Creativity Coach and Teacher who uses mixed media and art journaling as an invitation to find delight, freedom and going with the flow. She believes that we should always be learning, growing, trying, failing and embracing the process. She wants everyone to know that if you start with the curiosity, playfulness, and joy by slapping down some paint, gluing magazine pages to a piece of paper, adding doodling & marks, finding a quote that screams...'THIS IS HOW I FEEL TODAY!"...and calling it good enough, the deep stuff will show up and allow you to find yourself.

John Roedel: Author & Poet
John Roedel is an improv comedic who "stumbled" into writing a few years ago as his life began to fall apart all around him. During his dark night of the soul, John began to have fake conversations with "God" on Facebook to poke fun at his spiritual and personal crisis. What began as a flippant way of making light of his doubts in the Divine turned into something he wasn’t at all prepared for: God wrote back. Since creating the popular "Hey God. Hey John." blog on Facebook three years ago, John has tackled such topics as his journey to mental health wellness, his lack of faith, the joy and pain of raising a child with autism, and grief, all in the form of a simple conversation with "God."Eventually, these conversations transformed straight into poetry that has touched hundreds of thousands of people all around the world. You can find all of John's books on Amazon.
