Dear Kids...

Happy Pride Month!

This word ambrosia is dedicated to Abigail, Isabella, Emma, Cosette, Charlotte Grace, and to all the babies (big ones and little ones too) everywhere.

We hope you remember to...

* Hold hands and look both ways. Bonus points for noticing others who may need your assistance to cross safely. This will require you to Put.Your.Phone.Down. (Cozy) Harry Styles will still be there: we promise.

* “Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” Nelson Mandela. If you don’t know who this man is, stop what you are doing and Google it.

*Have dessert. Always have dessert. Move your body in a way that feels good to you. Sing often and loudly. Find what makes you feel like time doesn't exist and do more of that. Also change your sheets regularly.

*Dole out grace like you’re at an all you can eat buffet in Vegas. Everyone has a story that we know nothing about. Bless others with your presence.

* Rub shoulders with other kindreds who will hold your hair back, pray on their knees next to you, or bail you out.

* Above all: show up in Love. Learn your own Love Language and the Love Languages of others. Tell people you love them. Show your Love by being the Hands and Feet of Christ. Or Buddha. Or Beyonce.

If this feels overwhelming, just skip to the last step. You can never go wrong with that one.

We love you, All the Mamas Everywhere
